X-rays

Learn how X-rays can aid in your diagnosis and treatment

When you visit Foundation Chiropractic for a chiropractic or orthopedic exam, our doctor’s may take X-rays as part of your initial evaluation, or utilize X-rays taken at a previous time. Our practice uses advanced digital imaging to capture highly detailed images of your musculoskeletal system, which allow us to provide you with a more accurate diagnosis, and a much more precise and effective treatment. We invite you to contact our offices for more information about how X-rays are used in your treatment plan and schedule your appointment with our skilled chiropractors in Lehi and Orem, Utah.

One of the most important aspects of chiropractic care is diagnostics. Our doctors and team use a variety of diagnostic techniques in order to understand what is happening in your musculoskeletal system. Among the most important techniques used in providing a correct diagnosis is taking X-rays.

X-rays provided a very vivid image of the layout of your bones in your body, showing our chiropractors exactly what is happening the body in terms of alignment and structure, as well as identifying the presence of arthritis or degeneration in a given area.

In many cases, our chiropractors do not need to use X-rays in order to correctly diagnose your condition. X-rays are typically reserved for patients who may have a much more severe condition, such as scoliosis, osteoporosis, chronic pain, or spinal stenosis; or for when the patient may have infection or a significant traumatic injury (broken bones, dislocated joints, etc.).

If you have any questions about X-rays, and to set up your consultation with our experienced chiropractors, please call our office today.
